I figured that if I’m going to start posting again, or at least wasting time thinking about posting again, I should clean things up around here. I read through my About page and, whoa, that’s a walk down memory lane. So much has change in the past few months that I felt like I was reading about a totally different person.
We’ve since moved from Detroit to very rural Wyoming. The old About talks about my dull 9-5 job that I later quit with 1 1/2 weeks notice in May 2012. We now own a small powersports business that rules our lives, but also kinda just rules. I wrote about knitting because I was gearing up to launch an Etsy shop. While I’m still hugely personally interested in knitting, that project has taken a permanent back-burner position because I lack the time/brain power to manage the logistics of another small business. My heart just wouldn’t be in it. The old About also mentions Emma, my beloved rescue pup who passed away shortly after our move to Wyoming. I no longer cry upon meeting someone named Emma, but thinking about her in detail will forever sting a bit. Perhaps most importantly, over just a few short weeks this past summer, Mister and I transitioned from boyfriend/girlfriend to engaged to married.
With that, I guess it’s time for a new About.
