As we settle into a more permanent life in Wyoming, I find myself pinning cabin inspiration something fierce. The late 1800s/early 1900s home of my dreams, the ones I lusted after in Detroit, are no longer a possibility. Homes out here tend to be cabins with tons o’ wood everywhere, so I’m obsessed with “cabin” ideas that go beyond non-ironic deer heads and log furniture.

There’s definitely something to love about those Detroit homes AND the cabin-esque ones – just very different things :) I love the cabin look!
Just trading one dream for another! I love the cabin look too. I’m excited to someday make our more modern furniture work alongside all that wood.
