Force Awaken is a new photo album from the band Power of the Amani Recordings, based on the hit movie Star Wars. Although many Star Wars fans may have grown up loving the films, most also have a whole collection of older films to draw on when the need arises. Force Awaken takes this to a whole new level, taking fans back to scenes they used to enjoy but which now seem somehow familiar. It’s a collection that’s perfect for fans who’ve never been a part of the Star Wars universe but who have always longed for it to be.
Star Wars has always been about good versus evil – the good side using the dark side of The Force to fight against the bad. This time around, the bad guys are not only using the dark side to fight the good, but the good side uses an all-new light saber as well. Luke Skywalker, played by the late Lee Pace, uses his light saber to battle with an army of bad guys who want to seize control of the Yoda’s moisture land. Force Awaken takes us back to the days of the original Star Wars films, as well as those of the original trilogy. This is the kind of thing that makes you feel young again, like you haven’t stopped watching since the first film in the trilogy came out.
The photos in Force Awaken are all based on original film stills, but they’re enhanced and remade for the digital age. You can even see every single hair on every character in the photos! The collection is available in two different sizes, one is the regular size and the other is oversized. That way, you can take Force Awaken with you wherever you go, even to your favorite beach house. In fact, that’s what the original Star Wars star Mark Hamill was doing when he took the photos for this Force Awakens photo collection. He went to a beach house in California.
In order to turn the digital photos into an amazing Force Awaken collection, the photographer had to use a process called photo retouching. It’s a Photoshop-like technique that allows you to change the background, remove unwanted objects, move things around, add text, or make the background fade in and out. In fact, Force Awaken’s Mark Hamill used the same technique in one of the scenes from Force Awaken as well. The scene involves the bad guys sending a message to Yoda, telling him to come with them. In order to make the scene more dramatic, Hamill had his hair cut short in the background. The result was a Force awakens photo featuring Hamill in the scene alongside a beautiful background.
If you like Star Wars action and adventure, you’ll love Force Awaken. The Hokey Pike photo came out during the time that the third Star Wars film in the original trilogy was in production. The photo is one of the most recognizable from that film. Hamill was standing on the pier in front of the boat where he first meets Chewbacca. The look on his face as he stands there next to Chewbacca is priceless!
Hamill’s other popular Force Awakening photo comes from the scene in which Yoda retrieves the mysterious crystal from Solo. The crystal in question turns out to be a Life Tree. This special plant grows inside of a Force awakened Jedi. Hamill was seen at a party wearing a Life Tree outfit along with several other Force Awakened stars. The image makes you wonder what life he’s been waiting for…
No one knows the real story behind the photo, but one thing is for sure. Star Wars fans are absolutely crazy about this one! You’ll find many Force Awakened photos featuring Mark Hamill throughout the Internet. Many people even have their own Star Wars collections featuring the character.
The original version of the Mark Hamill Force Awakens photo comes with an accompanying plaque. It’s even framed! If you’re a Star Wars fan and you have a chance to see the original Hamill in his iconic role as Luke Skywalker, you should do it. He may just make you think of the scene in which he is literally knocked off his feet. No one can get that feeling like Luke Skywalker.
